Jebel Rabba, Sinai, Go tell it on the mountainThese galleries cover all of the Sinai and are the background to my time in the region. The pics were taken with OLYMPUS and NIKON cameras for the first few years; later in 2010, I switched to a PANASONIC LUMIX FT1. All of them were small, no-frills point-and-shoot cameras, but the PANASONIC had the bonus of being waterproof and dustproof so it lasted a lot longer and I still use it today. The Sinai is a photographer’s paradise and I’d like to use a bigger, better camera; but I like to travel light too and my main aim is to climb mountains. So it’s all a compromise.
